Chelsea Clinton’s wedding is still by and large a closely guarded event. While security is high much of the secrecy is due to Chelsea Clinton herself. Her marriage to Marc Mezvinsky has caused much speculation due to her reluctance to share any details with the press. Chelsea Clinton has been a longtime popular first daughter and is equally loved and respected by much of the world. Her quiet demeanor and resistance to celebrity have garnered her acclaim and well wishes from both sides of the political aisle.
Her secrecy matches the level of security surrounding the wedding. The streets are crowded in hopes of a celebrity sighting while the Secret Service ensures that security is maintained. Their coordination with State troopers has thus far kept the gawkers in line and the quaint village of Rhinebeck a crowded but peaceful setting for the wedding.
